Fifth Annual 'Last' Garage Sale!

No, the church is not having a garage sale. This is just the title of Sunday's message.
Church begins at 10:30 a.m. with a coffee and fellowship time beforehand. Pastor Jack will be in Luke 12.
This week, the prayer group meets from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Narcotics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 8 p.m. on Saturday.
It's not too late to contribute to the No Bake Sale, a way to do some good in the community and beyond.
See you Sunday!

Impossible things are happening every day

This Sunday, as Pastor Jack and Kathy visit Crosby, N.D., Art Marmorstein steps in and speaks on passages in Colossians 1. His sermon title is "Impossible things are happening every day."

Also on Sunday, Vacation Bible School starts. This takes place at North Highlands United Methodist Church as a joint effort of the two churches. Registrations starts at 5:30 p.m.  (You can also register online here.)

The No Bake Sale is still going on. If you have something to contribute in lieu of baking in summer and buying back your baked goods, see Donna Seaton or Margaret Rieger. Last year, the women's group was able to contribute to many good causes because of your generous donations.

A Picture is Worth...

Baptism is the theme this Sunday.
Pastor Jack will be in Acts 19, speaking on John the Baptist's and Jesus' baptisms. And we will also have a baptism during the service.
After the service, UMW meets in the fellowship hall.
Hymns in the service include Happy the Home, Children of the Heavenly Father and Where Charity and Love Prevail.
This week, Narcotics Anonymous meets Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm and Saturday at 8pm.
Vacation Bible School with (and at) North Highlands will be July 17 - 21.
The No Bake Sale is still going on.
Last year, the women's group was able to give nearly $1,000 to local and international needs, including the Salvation Army, Kids Against Hunger, World Service Blankets and many more. You can be a part of this work this year, simply by NOT BAKING! See Donna Seaton or Margaret Rieger.
