Trifles and Treasures

This is it! The week of Trifles and Treasures, Faith UMW's fall rummage sale. Most items are priced and ready for Saturday. The sale starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m., with a bag sale at 1.

The youth will be offering walking tacos, hot dogs, lemonade, mulled cider and brownies for sale, too. The entire event will be held downstairs in the east wing. Most proceeds go to local and international charities.

This Week's Happenings

Sunday, at 9 a.m., kids and adults will have Sunday school. We have a new class for toddlers and early schoolers, now meeting upstairs in the education wing. The youth class meets upstairs in the youth room. The adults meet in the lounge below the sanctuary.

    

Worship begins at 10:30 a.m., but come for coffee and fellowship earlier. Kathy and Pastor Jack are back from their travels. The sermon this week is called "As a little child?” and Faith Musicians will provide special music.

   

Wednesday, prayer is from noon to 2 p.m. in the lounge.

Some will be meeting today at 4 p.m. or Friday to help set up for UMW's Trifles and Treasures. Call Margaret Rieger for more information.

We are still accepting items for the rummage sale. No bake sale this year with the rummage sale, but help is always appreciated.

World Communion Sunday

This week, UMW meets Saturday at the church at 1 p.m. The original time of 10 a.m. was changed because it conflicts with the Gypsy Day parade.  

Sunday is World Communion Sunday, and the sermon will be "Who is our neighbor?"

Sunday school for adults and kids starts at 9 a.m.

Wednesday, the prayer group meets at noon.

Trifles and Treasures, a rummage sale by UMW, is accepting items (except clothing) for donation. See Margaret Rieger or Donna Seaton if you have items to donate. The sale will be Saturday, Oct. 27.

Britton Road Trip

Faith Church went to Britton Sunday, to worship in the backyard of Pastor Jack and Kathy Erickson. Great weather, fun music and an all around good time in beautiful, fall color surroundings.
