Christmas Eve Service

Faith will hold a Christmas Eve Vespers service 5pm Friday evening.

The kids did an awesome job with their nativity drama Sunday. Despite never rehearsing all together before the day of performance, it all came together beautifully.
Sunday, Dec. 26, worship service is at 10:30AM during which we will receive six
folks into full membership in our congregation. Sunday School for children and adults begins at 9:00AM.

The morning message, “A Very Merry Christ……." , will be delivered by Pastor Jack Erickson.

There will also be Special Music, "The Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah, performed by a choir of several churches in Aberdeen.
Our Prayer Group meets each Wednesday, 12-2:00PM

Dark Streets Shining

Sunday, Faith will celebrate Christmas with a special service of drama, music and worship. The youth will present a Nativity drama, Dark Streets Shining, and we'll enjoy some harp and mandolin music also. Here's a preview of the kids at their rehearsal:

Advent Time

Faith Church celebrated the second Sunday of Advent this week by lighting the candle of prophecy. We looked at Isaiah 11, and Pastor Jack retold the O. Henry tale, The Last Leaf, encouraging us to give hope rather than "inflict" Christmas on others. We shared The Lord's Supper and sang carols. The praise band sang Hallelujah (the Shrek song). Kids and adults are preparing for the Christmas program -- Dark Streets Shining -- on Sunday morning, Dec. 19.

Baptism and Advent

Faith celebrated the baptism of Devin Tyler DuFresne this Sunday, son of Janna Erickson Fritz and Steve Dufresne. We also began the advent season, lighting the first candle on the "Day of Light." Adults are practicing the Hallelujah chorus for the Christmas program on Dec. 19, while kids are rehearsing their skit and song.
Sunday, Dec. 5, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab, there will be a communion service.
