Celebrate!

This Sunday is CELEBRATION SUNDAY!
We'll feature music by Tiffany Schilling(solo), Michael Marmorstein on piano, and the Praise Band singing "The Gospel" written by Bob Seaton, "Blowin' in the Wind" and "He Came Down." 
 We are also featuring Ted Kneebone reading a Psalm, accompanied on guitar by Bob Seaton.
   The morning message,  “It’s Three O’clock in the Morning”, will be brought by Pastor Jack Erickson.          

July 31-Aug 4: Vacation Bible School, 5:30-8:30PM, with and at North Highland United Methodist.

What's coming up this week

This week

Sunday, Bob and Art managed to escort us through the service while Pastor Jack and Kathy were taking care of little grandson Devin in Milwaukee. "Tough duty, but someone has to do it," was the message in the bulletin.

Ted Kneebone gave the children's message and talked about worry and worrying. Art's message "Sufficient evil," tried to reconcile the Ants with the Grasshoppers. The praise band, as well as the psalmist-guitar crew, Ted and Bob, provided a great time of thoughtful music.

Jack and Kathy are to be back in the area on Thursday. 

 “Ready When You Are!”  is the title of Pastor Jack's message. 

We will offer a 2 p.m. service of Holy Communion at Aberdeen Health and Rehabilitation Center, 1700 N. Hwy 281.

As usual, our prayer group meets Wednesdays from 12 to 2 p.m.

Pastor Jack will bring the morning message: “Command or Promise?” There will also be special music. Our prayer group meets each Wednesday, 12 to 2 p.m.

Celebrating Him!

At Faith Church this week, we enjoyed our Celebration Sunday with a time of worship and song, and holy communion. We took part in the One Great Hour of Sharing. The potluck overflowed with good things to eat and great fellowship. The celebration doesn't end when Celebration Sunday's over, though. We'll soon be moving into a time of advent, and if that isn't something to celebrate, what is? Hope you can join us.

UMW will meet Saturday, Nov. 6. at 10 am at Bertha's place. Call for more information 225-6033. It will be a thank offering meeting. Also, Celebration Sunday will be Sunday, Nov. 7, rather than the usual fifth Sunday of the month. Celebration Sunday is a service of song and worship. Contact Bob Seaton for more information.
