Altered at the Altar

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Faith United brings in the new year with worship.

Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. for kids and adults. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jack will give the message Altered at the Altar during the morning worship service, and he'll be reading from I John 4.

Though the Harvest Festival has ended, receipts from Kens and Kesslers are still being collected in the box near the coffee service in the lower narthex.

God Rest You Merry

 It's Christmas! and Faith Church rejoices

Tomorrow (Sunday, Dec. 26) we'll celebrate the Savior's birth in worship at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jack will give the message, God Rest You Merry during the worship service. Kids will join adults for Sunday school at 9 a.m.

We'll be singing traditional carols during the service.

Harvest Festival continues this week with Harvest offerings going to Safe Harbor and the Salvation Army.

Christmas Eve Vespers Service

 The Christmas Eve Vespers service will be at 5 p.m. Friday. The service is a reflective one with scripture and carols, concluding with the congregation spreading the light with candles to Silent Night.

Can Christmas Happen Today?

 It's the fourth week of Advent, and Faith Church lights the Candle of Righteousness during the worship service.

 Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. Worship at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jack will give the message Can Christmas Happen Today? and he'll be reading from Luke 2.

 


The church will hold a vespers service on Christmas Eve.

 Faith Church observes the third week of Advent tomorrow. The Harvest Festival is still ongoing.Worship is at 10:30 a.m. with Sunday school starting at 9 a.m.

Gold, Circumstances and Mud

 Faith Church celebrates the second Sunday of the Advent season. 



During morning worship (10:30 a.m.), Pastor Jack will deliver the message Gold, Circumstance and Mud and read from Isaiah and Philippians 4.

 Sunday school starts with a jam session at 9 a.m., and Bible time at 9:35 a.m.

The Harvest Festival is ongoing through the first of the year. At this time, members can contribute and all Harvest-designated offerings go to either the Salvation Army or Safe Harbor. The church will match Harvest offerings.

Ken's and Kessler's receipts can go in the box on the table near the coffee in the foyer, and this helps the Prairie Schole group that meets in the church.
