God Knows Our Names

Sunday, Pastor Jack spoke from Isaiah 45.  You can see the service here.
The Harvest Festival is starting.  Some years we bring non-perishables to the altar for distribution to Safe Harbor and the Salvation Army, but this year we will collect financial donations to give to those same groups.
On Tuesday, Nov. 21, the church will be hosting a Thanksgiving service with North Highlands United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.

If you have new information for the directory, (phone, address changes, etc.) please get those into Pastor Jack soon.

View past services anytime

If you missed a service in person (sad, because we have a blast together each week, but sometimes necessary) you can sometimes catch it online.
You can watch it on your phone while waiting in line or at home while doing dishes, organizing files, or resting after a long day's work.
  Here is last week's service.
To catch older services, you can go to our sermon archive.
Not only do you get to see and hear Pastor Jack's great messages, but you also can view the worship band and other parts of the services.
We have a few weeks of video recordings and older audio recordings. We are still working out a few bugs with the videos, but each week the recordings get a little better.
  Thanks for your patience!

Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. with singing and an opening time for kids and adults. Classes start at 9:15, with kids in the (east) education wing downstairs and adults in the lobby (downstairs west).

The UMW NO-bake sale is still ongoing.

The church is matching donations for hurricane relief.

Thanks to Sara Jo for bringing all the garden goodies each week, and to Charlene and Christo DeVilliers for keeping the tree in season and the church looking lovely, inside and out with landscaping and garden decor.

Guest Speaker

Aberdeen Faith welcomes Ron Parker to the pulpit Sunday, as he gives his message on Micah 6:8.

Worship is at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday school is at 9 a.m. Lorri Rieck teaches the younger kids, while Art Marmorstein starts a youth-adult class this week.

To help with hurricane relief, UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee On Relief, raises administrative costs separately so that 100 percent of donations goes right to where it's needed. Not many organizations can give 100 percent. The advance number for hurricane relief is this: #901670, and that can go in the memo portion of your check.

The Aberdeen Area Community Choir gathers for its first rehearsal Sunday night (Sept. 10) from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church 431 W. Melgaard Rd. Rehearsals will be Sunday evenings.
