He is Risen!

 Faith Church celebrates the Risen Lord this morning at 10:30 a.m. with Sunday school starting at 9 a.m.

The Easter message is What Happened? and the scripture is from John 20.

In a few weeks, Faith will celebrate several member accomplishments. We will honor high school graduate Aiden Rieck, and college graduates Isaac Seaton and Joy Stevens. At the same time, we will celebrate with Ruth Eberhart who will have completed 100 years on this earth, turning 101 May 20. A potluck dinner will be after the service on May 15.

Maundy Thursday service canceled

Palm Sunday at Faith

Spring? Really? is the title of Pastor Jack's sermon this Palm Sunday at Faith. Children and adults wave palm branches and rejoice during the service. Sunday school starts with music at 9 a.m. and Bible study at 9:35 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.

A Servant People or Not?

 Faith Church observes the fifth week of Lent Sunday and hears a message from Pastor Jack called A Servant People or Not? Scripture is from John 12. 

Sunday school is at 9 a.m. with Bible study beginning at 9:35 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 in the sanctuary.

At 2 p.m., World Day of Prayer will be held at North Highlands United Methodist Church. At 3 p.m., Organist Isaac Seaton will have his senior recital at NSU (not on organ).

The Greatest Short Story

 Faith observes the fourth week of Lent. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. with music. Bible study for kids and adults follows at 9:35 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 a.m., and Pastor Jack will give the message from Luke 13, The Greatest Short Story. 

Giving to United Methodist Committee on Relief  (UMCOR) is one way to help those in Ukraine.

United Methodists and others wishing to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people in the wake of the Russian invasion of their country may write Advance #982450, on a check and leave it in the offering plate. The United Methodist community in Ukraine, though quite small, is actively engaged in assisting neighbors in need. Global Ministries is in touch with the church’s leadership as well as with church leaders in countries welcoming those who are fleeing from violence in Ukraine.

 This third week of the Lenten season, Pastor Jack will be looking at the first verses of Luke 13 and giving the message: Ample Opportunity to Pick a Fight. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m.
