All Saints Sunday

Fall Back this Saturday!

 This week, it's All Saints Sunday, and Faith Church welcomes Rev. Eldon Reich to the pulpit. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. with music, followed by Bible study at 9:35 a.m. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Reich will look at Luke 7 and give the message: The Home of the Neglected Guest. 

Second Retirement Potluck

It's not a second potluck; it's a second retirement. We would have put "final retirement," but you just never know. In any case, Faith Church celebrates 15 wonderful years with Jack and Kathy and sadly says goodbye as they retire, giving up the long trek from Britton to Aberdeen.

Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. with Bible study starting at 9:35. Worship, and Jack's last message at Faith Church, is at 10:30.

Afterwards, join us in the fellowship hall downstairs for a potluck dinner. Pork loin will be provided and members bring everything else to share.

Except the Lord Build

 It will be bare bones tomorrow as Pastor Jack and many of our musicians are gone, but what we lack in numbers we'll make up for in, um, enthusiasm? Sunday school will start as usual at 9 a.m. with music. Kids will be with adults in a combined Bible study. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. and Art will give the message: Except the Lord Build, and the scripture is from Genesis 12.

Go Therefore

 It's Trinity Sunday, tomorrow, and Faith will partake in Holy Communion during the service. Coffee fellowship and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m. with worship at 10:30 a.m. The message is Go Therefore, and the scripture is from Matthew 28.

Pentecost

 Faith observes Pentecost today.

Nearer to God

 It's not every day someone turns 102, but our own Ruth Eberhart is 102 today. We will celebrate after the service with a potluck. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m., and worship is at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Jack will give the message Nearer to God, and the scripture is from Romans 5.

In Fellowship with Thee

 Faith meets tomorrow morning for coffee,  fellowship and Sunday school at 9 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. It's Communion Sunday. Pastor Jack's message is In Fellowship with Thee.

 We hope to celebrate Ruth Eberhart turning 102 with a potluck Sunday, May 21, so mark your calendars.
