Pastor Jack mentioned the British comedy series Mulberry, and talked about the son-of-Death character in the last, unbroadcast, episode, revealing himself at last for who he was. He said that one of the final ideas of the show was that it is easier to face death in the presence of a friend. He spoke on judging and on the light we shine as Christians. He also looked at the quoted song lyrics in Ephesians 5:
"Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine on you."
God gaves us brains; he expects us to use them | . |
The praise band sang blues style songs: Precious Lord, take my Hand, and Jesus is a Rock and He Rolls my Blues Away.
